Valencia Valencia,
Spain's third-largest city, is famous for its magnificent orange groves and the
beauty of its long beaches, paella (a rice dish with chicken or seafood), and
the fallas festival in March. The festival is the unique fiesta of Saint Joseph
when enormous papier-mache sculptures are set ablaze. In
Valencia's center you will find a medieval cathedral and its octagonal bell tower,
El Miguelete, impressive city gates, and other monuments. Museums
here include the Museum of Fine Arts and the Valencia Institute of Modern Art.
The newest attractions are a science museum and an IMAX theater, with many other
